Foghat Concert Reviews 1997

Concert Reviews '97

Tue ... Mar. 4 ... Paducah, KY ... Jammin' J's

Saw Foghat last night at Jammin J's. They were, as always, great! Got some great pictures during and after the show, and talked to the guys. They started out with "Louisiana Blues" ... followed by "Driving Wheel" ... "Nothin' But Trouble" ... "Stone Blue" ... a new song called "Soakin' The Bone" ... "Honey Hush" ... "It Hurts Me Too" ... "Sweet Home Chicago" ... "I Just Want To Make Love To You" ... "Fool For The City" ... and "Slow Ride." I asked Dave when there new album would be out, and he said, "Hopefully in June." All the guys were real nice, and I think they enjoyed their short stay in Paducah. The way the stage was set up with the floor, Dave came out into the crowd and played his guitar, and let some of the fans pick at his "six string gun." It was great! Keep up the great work.

Tue ... Mar. 4 ... Paducah, KY ... Jammin' J's

Just had to add my two cents' worth about Tuesday night's show at Jammin' J's here in Paducah. The guys were in rare form and topped themselves once again! I believe the last time Mark and I saw them was in 1994 (same place). They just continue to get better and better! Even sent the guys an E-mail. Got back pictures today from the show. They are REALLY good. If you can instruct me on how to send them to you by attaching to e-mail, I will be glad for them to be posted on your website. Talked with each of guys after the show, Dave mostly. He thinks they will be playing in St. Louis at the amphitheater this summer (looks like you have confirmed that fact also on your website). Definitely hope to be among the lucky ones to attend that. Foghat's sound is definitely stronger than ever. I hope we are still rocking to them long after we are too old and toothless to care what other people think about our presence at one of their shows! Thanks for your excellent website! I LOVE IT! FFF (Foghat Fans Forever),

Thur ... Mar. 6 ... Westland, MI ... Mosquito Club

I was lucky enough to see Foghat play at the Mosquito Club in Westland, Michigan. I have been hundreds of concerts, ranging from heavy metal to John Denver, etc.. I am a hard rocker at heart. I also like some new music and keep up with just about everyone. Let's just say music is my life-as I am a musician and am writing songs waiting for my time. Anyway, Foghat blew me away. I was almost too close to Dave ... that's how close I was to the small stage. Knowing that this band filled the Pontiac Silverdome in 1975 with Aerosmith and Nugent, this so far has been the most incredible show I've ever seen. Seeing Foghat in a small venue is something words cannot describe.

Thur ... Mar. 6 ... Westland, MI ... Mosquito Club

Carl ... Thanks for the information on Foghat here in Michigan!! We went to the Westland show on Thursday March 6, they were fabulous! BTW ... Rod sends you his regards. They came out and signed autographs about 20 minutes after the show. I received a kiss on my hand by the bass player. (Doug didn't want me to wash of course). We had a great time!!! The Mosquito Club was packed so I, being all of 5 feet tall, had to stand on a chair to see the performance. (That was truly interesting.) Good thing I don't drink, I could have had a major accident!!! They were in wonderful, spectacular, form!! You know, there are few groups out there that sound as good in person as they do on the recorded version. Foghat always sounds the same!! Amazing!

Thur ... Mar. 6 ... Westland, MI ... Mosquito Club

The Mosquito Club only holds about 250 people. I had not seen Foghat in a couple of years, (as I have been a fan of theirs since 1974), and did not know what to expect. We arrive at this small club and I started to doubt that I was going to see the real Foghat. It seemed too small and the audience kinda surprised me. There were some definite Foghat fans, but there was also some people who acted surprised almost as though they couldn't believe what they were seeing. We arrived just in time to see the band come out on stage, (I had a flashback to the Blues Brothers movie, playing in a redneck bar) I had a hard time believing this absolutely professional rock & roll band would play at such a venue, but thank God for me and some true hard core music lovers we were able to see this up close (litterly almost too close, about 1 ft. away) act that did not stop rocking till they left the stage and came back for a well deserved encore.

Rod Price did not miss a lick, with his slide guitar playing, lonesome Dave singing like I had never heard before, Tony on solid bass in perfect unisin with Roger Earl on the drums. AMAZING. I have been to well over 300 concerts, ranging from Elvis (and I am not that old) to Stone Temple Pilots, Stones, etc. After the gig, the band memebers floored me with an autograph session in which I was delighted to talk with the 4 original members, and found out that they are polite, intelligent and have a down to earth aura about themselves that is very refreshing to discover in a time of bands that must fit a certain mold. Foghat seems to be sticking to their (outlaw) guns and not giving in to the flash in the pan so called mainstream music BIZ. I can tell you without a doubt that this night was and is a highlite in my life. They must be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Keep Rocking!

Wed ... Mar. 19 ... Ft. Wayne, IN ... Pierre's

Thought you would like to know we saw Foghat on 3/19/97 in Fort Wayne IN. I have known the band since the early '70s (worked with a concert promoter in Chicago for 8 years). I usually go just to hang out and drink a few beers and to visit with Roger and Dave. The band was so hot they even had me tapping my foot. They played with a fire I haven't seen since the mid '70s. The club was sold out and by the end of the evening was out of control. The best Foghat show I've seen in a long while. Also I was told there is a new album due out in 2 months. It's live, recorded at the end of last year. If it sounds like the 3/19 show, it will be the next step back to the big time. If anyone deserves it, it's this band, because not only are they great at what they do but they are truly excellent people! Have a good one.

Fri ... Mar. 21 ... Celina, OH ... Carousel

Thanks to the members of Foghat for so many years of great music. I saw them in Cleveland on 3-21-97 and really enjoyed the show, like I couldn't. Every time the band is in town you know I'll be there. Thanks for all the great times and I know I'll see you again soon. Keep on rockin !!!!!!!

Sun ... Mar. 23 ... Binghamton, NY ... Strike Zone

Went to Foghat's show at the Strike Zone in Binghamton, NY, March 23. We had a group of about 25 friends with us. Even some of our friends from Reading, PA came up for the show. It was of course excellent!! We could have rocked all night long. Can't wait to see them again.

Sat ... Mar. 29 ... Springfield, VA ... Jaxx Night Club

Nice job on the Foghat page. I'm glad there's still a few '70s rockers around. Saw them on the 29th of March in Springfield VA. Wow, what a show. They blew me away. They haven't missed a beat. Rod played some mean slide. I tried to get some people from work to go ... all but a few laughed, "Foghat, you've got to be kidding." Well, we got the last laugh Monday morning. Can only hope they come back again!
----- Keith Henson

Sun ... Mar. 30 ... Savanah GA ... The Roundhouse

I wanted to let you know that I was at the show in Savanah GA. Wow, they were just great! I was so happy to hear them again live, its been too long. I plan to see them in Atlanta in June. I can't get enough of them. I play Foghat at home so much that my wife has started to like them. Thanks for the great website from a true blue stone blue fan in Savanah GA.

Sat ... Apr. 5 ... Glades, FL ... Big Cypress

Had I not invested in trading cards and a PC a couple of years ago, I would've had a camcorder. I'm sure it would have paid for itself many times over, with the outdoor shows I've been to and could've taped. Yesterday's Journey To The Glades Classic Rockfest, at the Seminole Indian reservation, roughly 60 miles east of Naples (where I live) was no exception. I'm surprised to have seen no one taping the acts there. Foghat was slated to go on at 4:00 PM, but it wound up being 5:00 PM. Dave cited being stuck at the hotel without transportation for a couple of hours was the problem. The crowd had already witnessed Pat Travers, who opened the fest. This marked the first time I had seen Pat recently as a 3 piece group, and he tore it up! Foghat opened with Louisiana Blues, after which they tore into Driving Wheel. I have never seen Rod so fierce, ever, on the slide, as he did on this one. He did an extremely long slide break on it. It was hard to conceive what could possibly top that song! Next, Stone Blue, and then to Honey Hush. A different redention of It Hurts Me Too followed (perhaps not different to many of the dedicated Foghat and knowing fans) but probably different than the novices would recognize. Of course, I Just Want To Make Love To You, the classic was received, with some extended vocal and guitar work. FooL For The City was, again, Rod tearing a new (you know what, in his Strat), and the last, but not least Slow Ride, always a crowd favorite. I was sad to see that this was an abbreviated show. All in all, with the exception of the length of the performance, another great gig ! All of the guys were in great form, and with this being their 25th aniversary, we will continue to enjoy their contribution to blues/rock, for a long time to come! Enjoy!

Fri ... May 9 ... Sanford, FL ... Tsunami Beach Club

This might seem like a bias review as I am Lonesome Dave's son, but the band kicked ass Friday night. It was only an hour set, but a little bit longer than the Summer Daze shows will run. The band opened with Louisiana Blues, which was a surprise. The night before in St. Pete, they opened with "I Just Want To Make Love To You" ... like on their up-and-coming new live CD which, by the way, will be great. I heard it and they kick ass on that as well. Without a pause, Rod started the intro to "Drivin' Wheel" and they started to jam to that song. By the way, that song is one of my fave's they do live, especially the middle part (or bridge in music speak). Next, they did "Love Ain't Nothin' But Trouble," which I disagree as my girlfriend was there, and love is sooooo good. The funny thing about that song is watching my dad and Tony Stevens do their Rockettes impression. They seemed to be having a good time. I wish they'd do "Motel Shaker" from Return Of the Boogie Men, but I don' t know if they will. After that, they did "It Hurts Me Too," "Sweet Home Chicago" (where my dad sang Sweet Home Orlando at one point), then "I Just Want To Make Love To You," and the encore, "Fool For the City" and "Slow Ride." The one thing I noticed in the packed and sold out show was a lot of younger kids around high school age, getting into the show and singing along to the words. That's a good sign. I am, like you, anticipating the new CD which is gonna be great, especially with "Fool For The City" and "Slow Ride" on it ... and some new stuff!!! The Summer Daze shows should be really good, and I am hoping to see the band again in Las Vegas (but don't tell my dad ... he'll be surprised).

Fri ... May 9 ... Sanford, FL ... Tsunami Beach Club

Arrived at club: 9:50.
Foghat on stage: 10:10. Ooops, just made it!
Even after many years of being a Foghat fan (ohmigod, 25 years PLUS), and seeing them perform live, I still get a great feeling of excitement in anticipating their show (that pre-show "rush"! ). I always know they will give 100% and rock your socks off! They are fantastic musicians, and wonderful people. The band tore the place apart with songs including "Louisiana Blues" (which is a favorite of mine dating back to their Savoy Brown days); "Drivin'Wheel," "Slow Ride," "Sweet Home Orlando ... I mean, Chicago" .... The crowd was very enthusiastic! Lonesome Dave is the consummate performer, his unbelievable energy level and ability to play to the audience ... letting them play his guitar, and always getting them to sing along. Talk about audience involvement! Dave and Tone doing their "synchronized boogie" (or as Jason says, their Rockettes impersonation) ... Roger with his solid, feel-it-in-yer-gut drumming ... Rod pouring his all into amazing slide guitar ... Tone strong and stea dy on bass. Dave's soulful "It Hurts Me Too" (another favorite of mine) ... Is this band tight, or what?? They have never sounded better! I'm still singing, "Uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh....Love ain't nothin' but trouble"! If I could, I'd go to every one of their shows ... I never get enough of their music. They are incredible. I love you guys to pieces!!

Sun ... June 22 ... Shreveport, LA ... Bricktown

Went to see Foghat in Sherveport, LA and would like to say that they sounded great. I got there about 7:00 PM and walked up to the stage and saw Lonesome Dave talking with the road crew. Went right up to them and started holding a conversation and then Roger Earl walked up. The music sounded great. The songs played were Louisiana Blues, Driving Wheel, Stone Blue, It Hurts Me Too, Sweet home Chicago, Love Ain't Nothin' But Trouble, a new song which will be on the next albumn called Rock Your House (which sounded great, especially Dave's intro part), Honey Hush, I Just Want To Make Love To You, Fool For The City, and Slow Ride. Another great show I very much enjoyed. I must add that Lonesome Dave's singing is like a fine wine, just keeps getting better as the days go by. FOGHAT RULES!!

Fayetteville, WV ... Rivers

I went to a Foghat concert where they played with Ozark Mountain Daredevils and Goose Creek Symphony at Rivers. They played practically in my back yard!(actually 1/2 mile, hehe) While Ozark and Goose Creek played before Foghat, they were just OK ... but when Foghat came on they really blew the crowd away! Everyone was singing all the words, dancing, banging heads. (I'm 41 and still love to rock!) Let me tell you, Lonesome Dave still sounded as he did when I first heard him play lo these many years ago. This band is still tight and awsome! I haven't boogied so hard in years! The only thing they didn't play that I wanted to hear was Wild Cherry, but hey, Honey Hush was another tune I wanted to hear and got to hear it! :) If you got a chance to see Foghat live that's an experience one should not miss! HI -O SILVER AWAY! True Blue Boogie Foghat Man Forever!

Fri ... July 18 ... Kansas City, MO ... Station Casino

Foghat came out and kicked butt, it was great! Dave's vocals get better with time abd Rod just kept on playing ... it was fantastic. We got all their autographs after the show. The new CD is due soon, can't wait. Foghat, just keep rocking!

Wed ... July 30 ... Richmond, VA ... Innsbrook Pavilion

Saw the full band last night in Richmond, VA. After not seeing them for 20 years, I was blown away ..... again! They truly are the finest and signed autographs for all after the show. The best get better!

Wed ... July 30 ... Richmond, VA ... Innsbrook Pavilion

Hello!!! I have got to be the youngest FOGHAT lover alive. I am 16, and I just saw them play at The Innsbrook Pavillion here in Richmond. It was soooo great!!! They did sort of a meet and greet after the show and I got some things signed. Tony Stevens and I got to talk to each other afterwards, he is a very nice guy ..... but the reason I am writing to you is to tell you that this site kicks ass!!!! I also want to tell the people of my generation to wake up and listen to some decent music for a change. My friends have never even heard of great bands like this one or Blue Oyster Cult (etc..). That is all I listen to because I have the respect that these bands so rightfully deserve. Thanks!!!

Thur ... July 31 ... Albany, NY ... Alive At Five

After just turning 40 years old and anticipating the arrival of twin babies (sex unknown at that point), it was reassuring that I still had the need to attend what I considered a significant rock & roll show and the desire to do anything I could to make it happen. It didn't hurt to also write a music column for a large daily newspaper.

The news of Foghat coming to Albany NY's free "Alive At Five" concert series was truly the news of the summer. The City Of Albany arranged a great stage on the shores of the Hudson River, prayed for great weather (which they got) and awaited attendees (parking they forgot.)

I am not good at guessing ages, weights and crowd sizes, so I guess I would never make it with the circus. There was simply no room for anyone else at this show. Cars were strewn all along Interstate 787 which ran just yards from the stage. Some industrious individuals "finskied" hotel people to park in their lots. Others were towed.

The show began at 5pm. Royal Crowne Review said, just a few years later when they played in Saratoga NY, that they were not built to play in the daylight. Foghat proved otherwise.

Sorry about the big build-up, but this was just magic in the offing. Roger Earl without the hair farm and huge handlebar moustache was the first chuckle, physically. When Tony Stevens emerged, I remembered the story about him learning marshall arts after getting his teeth kicked in. Rod Price looked like a car salesman. Sorry Rod, but the coif and physique just didn't match the great licks. And Lonesome Dave had eyes that looked like roadmaps.

Now if I age only so well !

The music was just incredible. Five years later, I remember the opening as if it were yesterday - Muddy Waters' "Lousiana Blues." As Dave sang "Going to Louisiana...baby behiiiiiiiiiiiind the sun..." this group of all aged fans was about to be re-introduced to Chicago and Mississippi blues whether they wanted it or not. If they wanted "Slow Ride," they would have to endure an education.

Tony's bass boomed and Rod chimed in with signature slide lines throughout. This was to be the case throughout the set.

There were no stones left unturned. Driving Wheel, Stone Blue, Night Shift, Fool For The City as well as Slow Ride, I Just Wanna Make Love To You. The set list is a blur by now. But Dave's energy as well as the band's committment to play everything completely without "walk-throughs" was so strong, I swear it made the sun set faster !

There are many shows that many of us remember for many reasons. Seeing Foghat - the band that made me skip my first college graduation to see them play - along the Hudson River at sunset at forty years old was a marking of time and a memory that I will never dislodge.

Sun ... Aug 17 ... Langley, WA ... Island County Fair

I was one of several hundred overweight, almost 50 male fans who cheered you on at the fair. I hope you continue to do small venues like the fair. It WILL help folks like us get back in touch with great blues again. Hey, you don't have to be stoned out of your mind to tingle at great guitar! Thanks again ... a new fan ...

Sun ... Aug 17 ... Langley, WA ... Island County Fair

I love your Foghat page! Many great 70's bands are being ignored by the new technology, but thanks to you, Foghat is not ... and thanks to your concert calendar, I knew about the show last night at the Island County Fair in Langley, WA! I loaded up my wife and 3 kids, took the ferry over to Whidbey Island, and caught Lonesome Dave and the boys! It was really a small setting, and a lot of fun! It seemed strange standing in line to buy cotton candy for the little guys while listening to I Just Want To Make Love To You!!!

According to the concert list, last night's show here in Washington was sandwiched between a show on Friday in Iowa, and a show tonight in Kansas! That's a lot of frequent flyer miles! Thanks again for a great web page!

Sun ... Aug 17 ... Langley, WA ... Island County Fair

Concert was _of course_ fun. I think the mixing and/or equipment lacked in the quality/volume of Rod's guitar, but Rod completely won that crowd over anyway. The site was pretty small and open air. The whole situation reminded me of last year's concert sites. I think most of thecrowd was just there because they had been there at the fair and wanted to see what was up. I know the trip to get to the island turned back many people. We almost turned back when we got to Port Townsend at 2:00pm and were told we'd be lucky to make the 5:45 ferry. (Took us a lot of luck and 2 1/2 hours in the ferry line to get from Port Townsend to Whidbey Island. They only had one ferry running from Port Townsend due to the breakdown of their second ferry. We were incredibly lucky, as we were one of the last few cars to fit on a particular ferry trip, with another 1 1/2 - 2 hour wait in _blistering_ heat for the next trip. It was definitely hot and miserable waiting for the ferry. Had we not made the ferry we did, we would've missed the beginning of the concert at the very least. So it ended up taking about 5 1/2 to 6 hours to get there from about 60 miles away as the crow flies).

The crowd that was there was quite a mix (see above about what it took to get to the island again!). Rod won them completely over. Rod received a whole lot of spontaneous in-the-middle-of-the-song applause. While there were heads bobbing in the earlier songs, once the guys got to Sweet Home Chicago, they had the crowd completely. I was watching more that one 60+ year old lady dancing to the music (and they weren't together, so there was no collusion! *grin*). It was a fun time had by all, and I'm positive many new converts were made that night. I didn't make a play list as I was just enjoying the show this time around. There was a new song played (The title escapes me! *ack* ..."Rocking [your/my/her] House"), and this was the second time I've ever not heard Honey Hush. The show was about 90 mins. with Fool and Slow Ride for the encore. I really enjoyed the jamming in the intro for I Just Want To Make Love To You. Dave did comment in the middle of the concert that the Seattle area was one of the first areas to like Foghat. No surprise to me! *grin*

Dave of course, entertained the crowd immensely with his antics and audience participation. This concert had to have been the most fun I've seen Tony have. He really looked like he was having a good time, even though he can't afford socks. Of course he was hot as well! (I enjoy watching him at the end of Slow Ride every time!) Roger was strong as usual, and of course, clowning it up a bit as Dave was telling the crowd about lost brain cells, while mentioning he had five left. There was also additional entertainment available to the crowd. There were two Island County Sherrifs there, one stationed at each end of the stage. The younger one on the right corner of the stage had quite an experience when a lady from the audience started dancing around him, and behind him, and almost up against him in order to try and embarrass him. He was quite red, and handled it very well with a permanent smile and little reaction other than every shade of red you can imagine. He later told us he was aware it was all just in fun, and that the lady had said she was doing to that to him while he couldn't fight back.

The best part of the whole concert for me was one particular convert made there ... my wife! (you should've seen the look on Michael's face when she told him she'd never seen Foghat live before ... I think she saved me when she mentioned she did hear them everyday at home though. *grin* ...and she does!) My wife who doesn't like loud music, doesn't listen to it as often as I do, and tolerates Foghat being played all the time at (slightly) elevated levels, enjoyed the show completely! She enjoyed talking to Dave before the show (and was very impressed by his lack of "rock star" attitude, as he wasn't hung up on himself at all and just talked to us). She enjoyed seeing the music brought to life very much. She commented to me later she hadn't really appreciated the music before, and "now" (then) understood why I went to Foghat shows. She also disagreed with me about the mixing of Rod's guitars. She thought the performance was even more amazing in that she now appreciated each person's part in the music better. (side note: I think Dave enjoyed my wife mentioning my step-son was a Foghat convert ... we went on a family trip to Mt. Rainier a few weeks ago while he was home on leave from the Navy and I kept playing the same tape over and over during the trip. One side was Live, the other was Return. Dave of course, mentioned his son also liked Foghat, but had been influenced by his father! *grin*)

Sat ... Aug 30 ... Virginia Beach, VA ... 17th St. Stage

I went to see the free FOGHAT show at VA beach and it was great!!! They came out kickin' with Louisiana Blues and went right into Drivin' Wheel. They smoked the whole show ... everyone was very animated and seemed to be enjoying themselves. Of course, they ended with Slow Ride ... a personal favorite of mine. They came out of their hotel room after the concert and I got a chance to talk to all of them for about 30 minutes. They seemed to have remembered me from the recent show at the Innsbrook Pavillion here in Richmond. Tony said that they were going to take a few months off before starting a brand new tour for their new album. He also said that they would be doing theatres that seat about 2,000 people. They are all great guys and I am very happy that I got to see them a second time and talk to each one afterwards!! Keep Rockin FOGHAT!!!!

Tue ... Nov 18 ... Pekin, IL ... Nik's Ivanhoe

Just got home from a show in Pekin, IL, and it was GREAT! I've seen the boys a couple 3 times, and once again they were superb. They played everything I wanted to hear and then some. I even got to meet them after the show ... really nice guys. Just thought I'd share.

Tue ... Nov 18 ... Pekin, IL ... Nik's Ivanhoe

Opening band was a local group called Infinity. They did alot of cover material ... AC/DC, Bush, and some original material. Foghat took the stage around 10:15 and from the opening note took complete control of the crowd. They played Drivin' Wheel, I Just Wanna, Nothin But Trouble, Sweet Home Chicago, It Hurts Me Too, Fool For The City, Slow Ride, and several new tunes. Rod was smokin' on the slide. The best thing about the show was they looked like they were truly enjoying themselves. After the show, they took a 20 min. break and signed autographs for everyone who wanted one. Rod was surprised when I wished him a happy birthday (11/22). I got that info from the web page. This show was better than the SummerDaze show in Peoria on 5/30/97. Can't wait to see them again. OH WHAT A NIGHT, SURE HAD A REAL GOOD TIME!

Tue ... Nov 25 ... San Antonio, TX ... Midnight Rodeo

I am what you would call a very big Foghat fan and never thought I would see them live again. I will start the review off by saying, (in this vastly Hispanic community) that there were quite a few people who had never heard their music aside from Slow Ride. The turn out was in my opinion, kinda small, but like I say, this is a hispanic community on a Tuesday night.

The show was awesome. They still dance around like a bunch of twenty year olds. The only slight flaw in the show, (and maybe its because I was right in front of them) was that the sound man could have turned up the vocals a bit. They played their classic tunes with precision and grace, especially their versions of Slow Ride and Fool for the City, which I thought might be the best I've ever heard.

Overall, I feel that Foghat could return to the level of popularity that they had achieved in the seventies if they would write 70's style songs and forget the more love type tunes that was bringing them down in the 80's. Return of the Boogiemen was a great re-start and with a couple of big hits these guys could once again be on top of the world.

I would also like to add that after the show, they visited outside their bus with us and were genuinely intrested in what we were saying. Good luck Foghat, you're still in my top 4 Rock Favorites ... and get Boogie Motel out on CD. (Are you listening Rhino?)

Fri ... Dec 19 ... Lake Buena Vista, FL ... House Of Blues Orlando

Saw Foghat Friday night at House of Blues. They were great, despite Dave's terrible cold. I'm amazed he was able to sing! We spent time with them before the show, and stood side-stage for the performance. It was great. Pat Morita (you know, wax on wax off from Karate kid) was in the audience in a private room, and asked to come back to meet the band, so that was pretty cool, too! He's a big Foghat fan! We took one of my students with us (he is battling leukemia, and I had asked Dave and Linda about it a while ago). Of course, they had no objection! He had a great time, his first time to a REAL rock concert (he had seen Randy Travis at the O-rena). The band has always been so good about me bringing students. When I taught the deaf, and sponsored the Rock and Roll Fan Club at my school (Foghat was honorary member) ... they let me take several of my students and the president of the club to a show in Ft. Pierce. They are just great guys, what can I say!
