Conquering America was Savoy Brown's intention first and foremost, and the
make-up of the new LP was aimed fairly and squarely at that market's special
requirements, just as their live show had latterly been. The American's
penchant for lengthy workout medleys of established numbers was well known,
and the 'Savoy Brown Boogie' components which the boys had tested individually
and variously during the initial crusade were now whittled down to a
perfection which Edmonton's patrons would be able to enjoy as the magnetic
oxide rolled.
