[Notes:]
The main 2 chord motif in this song (D/A to A, you know
the first 2 chords of the song, or every place that
Lonesome Dave sings the words "stone blue") is clearly
identified. But, throughout the rest of the song the
A chord is rarely if ever played without rocking back
and forth to that D/A chord. Same with the E chord in
the verses.
Also, I have tabbed what is probably Dave's part. I can
hear some higher notes in some of the chords, which are
probably Rod's parts. If you have a 2nd guitarist, try
the following alternatives to some of the chords:
D/A A D
E|--5---5--10--|
B|--3---2-- 7--|
G|--2---2-- 7--|
D|--4---2-- 0--|
A|--0---0-- ---|
E|--------- ---|
