Maryann Borgon is a longtime Foghat fan and friend. She comes from Detroit, where she met and befriended the band many years ago. Detroit went bananas over Savoy Brown and subsequently Foghat--and so did she! Her views on the band range from "positively fantastic" to "the nicest people I know". Talented and dedicated musicians, Foghat has always remained the guys she first met: warm, friendly, creative masters with a great sense of humor, and a genuineness not often found in "rock stars". Maryann, who is a former teacher of the deaf, and currently a high school counselor, often brings her students to see the band perform--deaf, hearing, or ill-- and most times it is their very first concert experience. These kids never forget it. It's been her pleasure to be able to photograph the band over many years. The first 9 pictures were taken at the Tsunami Club in Sanford, Florida in May of '97. The 10th one is of Rod, and dates way back to who knows when ... probably the early '70s. No. 11 has Lonesome Dave at the microphone with Savoy Brown. No. 12 is Savoy Brown with Jason Peverett (Lonesome Dave's son) in the middle.
